Membership Dues

Membership is open to anyone with an interest in cattle. There will be five kinds of memberships available in the Association; Marketing, Active Breeder, Junior, Associate, and Subscription.

1. Marketing Member
This class of membership is for those breeders who routinely have cattle available for sale. Initial membership fee shall be $100.00 for the remainder of the first calendar year. Thereafter the annual dues shall be $50.00 to be billed and due as of January 1 each year. In order to remain active and stay on the Active Membership mailing list these annual fees must be paid no later than February 15 of each year. Current active status may be reinstated by payment of all dues in arrears. Each active breeder whose dues are paid up will be entitled to one vote per membership at the annual meeting and any special meeting of the membership. A seller of a registered animal may gift a membership to the buyer at the time of transfer for 50% of the membership fee. The seller must submit the membership application and fee.

2. Adult Member
This class of membership is for members that may or may not breed cattle but if they do rarely have breeding stock available for sale. Initial membership fee shall be $100.00 for the remainder of the first calendar year. Thereafter the annual dues shall be $40.00 to be billed and due as of January 1 each year. In order to remain active and stay on the Active Membership mailing list these annual fees must be paid no later than February 15 of each year. Current active status may be reinstated by payment of all dues in arrears. Each active breeder whose dues are paid up will be entitled to one vote per membership at the annual meeting and any special meeting of the membership. 3. Junior Member
A junior member shall be 21 years of age or under. The initial fee to join is $10.00 and to remain active must pay dues of $10.00 for each calendar year thereafter. Upon reaching the age of 22 years the Junior membership may be converted to Active breeder status by paying dues which are in effect at the time for that class of membership.

4. Associate Membership
Available to any person or entity with an interest in helping to further the promotion of this breed of cattle. Initial fee to join is $100.00 and thereafter the calendar year annual dues shall be $40.00. No voting privileges or registration rights go with this type of membership.
